Lisnaskea Golf society was formed in 1994 by a group of local golfers to organise golf outings with a competetive edge.

The society hold events on a monthly basis.

That's it for 2009. The golf clubs can be put into storage until Spring unless you are one of those golfers who play all year round.
Congratulations to our Christmas voucher winners in Sun drenched Clones on Sunday - Paudie Foley, Paraic Geoghegan and John McDaid. Once again we thank our sponsors for this event - The Oak Barrell, Frank's Bar and Durnien Fruit & Veg. We ask all our members to show their appreciation by supporting them and conveying your own thanks to them.
Members should note that membership £30 (unchanged for a number of years) can be paid to Damian or Brendan up until the first outing. The Society has a rule dating back to 1994 that anyone who lives within 10 miles of Lisnaskea cannot play as a visitor, they can only become a full member. Some guests will be invited by the committee to attend special outings - in memory of deceased members. Any other visitors must be passed by the committee in advance of attendance.
At present we are drawing up the programme for 2010 and anyone who has any suggestions for venues or any other things they would like to see happen in the coming year, then we ask you to pass these on to us in the next two weeks as we have to get our bookings done to avail of the best possible value for money.
We are organising a Texas Holdem for Sunday 27th December in the Oak Barrell at 5.00pm. We would like to see as many members in attendance on that day, either to play or to help manage the event.
In closing we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our members and their families, our sponsors and their families a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We hope you all come back in the new season and why not try to get a friend or two to join the Society.
